2. Working principle
The magnetic flap level meter is a level meter based on the principle of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the measuring vessel rises and falls, the lower float of the level meter rises and falls under the action of fluid buoyancy. It drives the level meter through the connecting rod. At this time, the magnet in the body tube also rises and falls.
The magnets are transferred to the magnetic flip column indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and white flip columns to flip 180°. When the level rises, the column changes from white to red. Likewise, the column changes from red to white when the level drops. The red-white junction of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level inside the vessel, thus achieving a clear indication of the fluid level.
3. The use of magnetic flap level meters

4. The effect of applying magnetic flap level meter in wastewater treatment.
4.1 Grille operation control
We installed one magnetic flap level meter in each coarse and fine grille. The level difference between the front and rear of the grille is then used to reflect the degree of grille blockage and is transmitted to the PLC controller for analysis and calculation. When the level difference exceeds a preset value, the grille is controlled to operate normally. Then the waste is removed to ensure regular water flow, thus reasonably reducing equipment wear and tear.
4.2 Lift pump operation control
We have installed two magnetic flip column level meters at the inlet pump well to control the inlet water energy lifting pump automatically. First, we use the measured water level in the pump well to transmit the signal and transfer it to the PLC controller and the host computer; then, we will carry out a system analysis.
