K Type Thermocouple Application

A type K thermocouple is a temperature measuring sensor based on the thermoelectric effect, consisting of two different metallic materials to form a thermocouple, where the temperature is deduced by measuring the difference in thermopotentials generated by the two metals in response to a change in temperature. In a type K thermocouple, an armored nickel-chromium alloy is used as the hot end and a copper-nickel alloy is used as the cold end.
